Area of Expertise

I advise on UK and offshore tax, trust and succession planning matters for high and ultra-high net worth individuals and their wealth-holding structures. My clients include international families, private banks, trust companies and family offices.

My tax work focuses on planning for UK resident non-domiciliaries and their structures, as well as tax and residence issues for individuals moving to or from the UK.

I advise international families on the creation, implementation and restructuring of wealth-holding structures (such as trusts and foundations) both for personal and business assets.

I also advise on tax and fiduciary matters for trustees and protectors and on regulatory and family governance matters. I have wide experience in advising on the Common Reporting Standard (particularly as to how reporting operates for complex trust structures) and other regulatory matters such as Economic Substance, beneficial ownership registers and the UK Trust Register.

I provide domestic UK advice to clients, particularly expatriates, on personal tax and estate planning, UK and cross-border tax and succession. I can also provide English law wills for UK citizens who are working or permanently resident in Switzerland.
